Ribbon

These ribbons are made from 100% recycled PET. The R-PET comes from plastic bottles that have been collected and washed, shredded into flakes, and then melted and extruded into fibers that are spun into polyester yarn and woven into ribbon. This ribbon comes in both a grosgrain and satin finish, and is about 30% more expensive than regular ribbon. This ribbon cannot be recycled, but it’s still a more sustainable option than standard ribbon considering no virgin materials are used in production.

Not included in the kit: A 100% bamboo ribbon and a 100% cotton ribbon are also available from this supplier and are fully biodegradable. They are 10-15% more expensive than R1 & R2 and MOQ is much higher, but please let us know if these are of interest.
