Burt invests in Maximum-Depth Production Equipment

January 2014 — Burt Rigid Box has installed the newest model of the cutting-edge Emmeci MC 2012 in its Oneonta plant. The MC2012 increases production capacity while permitting the manufacture of boxes up to 13” deep or 27” across. This is the largest box size made through automated production anywhere in the world. In addition to traditional and deep boxes, the MC2012 will make "T-wrap style" slipcases and H-blanks. The machine is running and is an excellent addition to Burt’s capabilities. In addition to the MC2012, Burt purchased an additional Bobst die-cutter for its repertoire at the end of 2013.
